If All You Ever Toast Is Hot Dog Buns…
...this device might make some kind of sense. I mean, it takes up only slightly more space than a toaster, and cooks both hot dogs and buns! Surely, a device that does two things is superior to one which only toasts! (You know, I used to have a typical toaster oven, and I’m pretty sure I could just toss buns and dogs into it easily enough…) As it is, this reminds me what happens when species evolve to fill specific niches; they die out as soon as the environment changes, while their more generalized cousins survive handily. See, you get cookware tips and science lessons here, because I don’t believe in tools that do only one thing.
