Evrimeasure

Posted on July 5th, 2008 by Lizard.

Every so often, you stumble on something genuinely useful. Not often, granted, but sometimes, fate smiles, giving you a brief moment of serendipity before hitting you with a truck. In this case, my discovery was the Evrimeasure, a useful gadget which can substitute for a wide range of measuring spoons which have long since become cat toys. Also, since I cruise the web for recipes a lot, I often find some which use wholly fictitious European measurements, like milliliters, and the Evrimeasure makes it easy to convert back to real, American, units such as teaspoons and hogsheads. Given how many cooking utensils I run into seem designed to perform only one hyper-specialized function, it’s rather nice to find something multi-purpose. Lastly, as a lazy sod, washing one tool>washing many.
